Ink Dusters This gave me a white border that contrasted nicely against the black card that is was being mounted on. The inks that I used were Distress Peacock Feathers and Adirondack Lemonade and Impress Lemon Yellow.
For the main image, I masked off the sun before colouring around it with the same inks that I used for the background. I added more ink onto the main image to allow it to stand out from the background. The stamp used on the main image is one from the Meadow Breeze set by Inkylicious. I stamped this with Versafine Black Onyx to give a nice, clear impression.
To finish the card, I used the 'Vivienne' die cut butterfly by Memory Box and used two butterfly punches to create the smaller butterflies.
I'd like to say a big thank you to Brenda and the design team for giving me the opportunity to be a guest designer at Stamping Sensations, it's been a privilege.
Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you've enjoyed viewing this post as much as I've enjoyed creating it. Take care and I hope to be back with you all soon x
