What a week!

Hello my crafty friends and followers.

This one hasn't been the best of weeks for me but I appreciate that it could have been so much worse.

My Hubby and I have both been under the weather over the last three weeks but unfortunately, my husband took a turn for the worst on Sunday when he started again with a high temperature, shivers and sickness. To cut a very long story short, after further complications, we went to A & E on Monday where he was diagnosed with pneumonia.  He was given a course of antibiotics and sent home to rest.  I'm very pleased to say that he's now starting to feel better and I'm one relieved and happy wife!

I'm sorry that I haven't had the time to comment on your blogs this week but I'm sure that you'll now understand why.

I hope to catch up with you all very soon but until then, I wish you all a happy weekend X

  2. Lots of rest is required, fluids and simple foods hun. I had a cold that became pneumonia two years ago. I was exhausted and unwell for a very long time. It didn't help that I've a compromised immune system but he will feel better soon. Make sure you take care of yourself too or else you could end ill as well Karen x

  7. Gosh...what a shock this must have been (my husband was only offered the pneumonia jab recently, which he took up - I've just told him about your husband's experience and he is counting his blessings!) I guess you'll be making sure your husband gets lots of rest and recuperation - stuff the crafting he's far more important!

  10. Oh gosh Sandra! What a worry. I had pneumonia a few years back and it sure wipes you out - thankfully though the antibiotics should kick in quickly with your hubby. But he will need to take it a bit easy for now. Stay warm both of you - the Playground is so wet and windy today - Parsnip the bear won't oweven go out to check that nothing is blwoing away. He just shrugged, glared at me and hopped back into his cosy little bed when I mentioned it! :)

    Hugs

  12. Things are just about back to normal, thank you Mac. My Husband is so much better, thanks to the antibiotics. We are both still quite tired though. I'm not sure what bug got us in the first place but it's definitely knocked the stuffing out of us both! I've had a couple of days card making and I have a post due tomorrow as it's a new challenge at FSC, so I hope you can check it out and maybe join in as it's the first time I've chosen a challenge theme. Take care and many thanks for your kindness x
