Time to celebrate at Allsorts

Hello there,

Allsorts are celebrating their 400th challenge this week, so I just had to join in as it's always been one of my favourite challenges.  The theme this week is 'Let's Celebrate,'  and here's the card that I've made:

The stamps that I've used came free with a magazine and although I've had them for quite a while now, it's the first time they've been used which also makes them perfect for another one of my favourite challenges...... Darnell's NUBUS challenge.

The stamps were quite simply stamped onto cream card using Versafine Black Onyx.  I then coloured the roses red and went around the edge with a gold pen.  The card looked a little bare when I'd finished so I added some gold corners to the inside just to bring it all together.

This is quite different to my usual style of card making but I'm happy with the end result.

Take care and enjoy the rest of your weekend x

  2. This is a lovely card Sandra, it shouts Charles Rennie Macintosh to me and I love Macintosh designs and have some here at home. Very clean and crisp. This isn't your usual design no but as with my own artwork, it's sometimes nice to do something a bit different and be a "jack of all trades"! Well done! xxx
