Autumn Glory at Stamping Sensations

Hello there,

It's time for a new challenge over at Stamping Sensations and our theme this time is 'Autumn Glory.' I don't know about you but Autumn is one of my most favourite times of the year.  The colours are absolutely spectacular and I never fail to be amazed by Autumn's spender.

For my card this time, I've used one of my oldest and most faithful ink pads, the good old Big and Juicy (Spice.)  The colours in this pad are just perfect for Autumnal cards and I wish they still made them.  On saying that, I must have had mine for ten years and it's still going strong.  I started by placing a leave stencil over some white card and then I created my background by dusting the various colours from the pad.  I stamped around the edge of the card using a leaf stamp by Inkylicious and then used a water colour brush to pull out the colour.  I've used one of my favourite sentiments in the center of the card. I firmly believe that it is the little things each and every day that make us truly happy, not the big things that people strive for. The stamps is by Dali ART.

We are generously sponsored this month by 'Stamp Addicts' and really hope that you'll be able to join us for this month's challenge but please remember that we are a stamping challenge and we need to see stamping as your main focal image. All the details of our challenge rules can be found here

Please note:  If we don't comment on your entry it will be because it doesn't follow our theme to qualify under our rules, or because we are asked to sign in or provide additional data to comment on third part hosts such as Instagram, Flickr or Facebook etc.  We really don't want to be rude but we do want to be fair to those who follow the rules.

That's all from me for now, so I'll wish you a happy and peaceful day x

This is simply stunning, Sandra! The combination of the stamped and stencilled leaves works beautifully, and your colouring technique is one of my favourites too. I've still got some B&J inkpads, they seem to go on forever, don't they?

Lynne

PS. Looking forward to Stamp Magic! Hope to see you there! x
