We're 'In My Garden' at Stamping Sensations

Hello there my crafty friends,

It's time for a new challenge over at 'Stamping Sensations' and the theme this time is 'In My Garden,' so we're hoping to see lots of beautiful floral creations.

Here's the card that I've made using some beautiful stamps by Crafty Individuals

                                                    Featuring: CI-415CI-491 CI-493

I've used CI-491 stamp to create my background paper by stamping with a blue ink onto pink paper.  The main focal image was stamped with Versafine Black Onyx and then heat embossed to avoid any smudging.  I then coloured the image with Distress Inks and Inktense pencils.  I finished by adding a few hanging flowers to complete the scene.

We are very generously sponsored this month by Jean and Malcolm over at Crafty Individuals who are offering a £25 voucher to spend at their online store.

We would really love it if you could join us with a piece of your artwork featuring this month's theme but please remember that Stamping Sensations is a 'STAMPING' challenge, so we must see a stamped image, sentiment or quote as the focal element of your artwork, this means: Stamping must be the central point of attention and interest.

All the details of our challenge rules can be found here

Please note:  If we don't comment on your entry it will be because it doesn't follow our theme to qualify under our rules, or because we are asked to sign in or provide additional data to comment on third part hosts such as Instagram, Flickr or Facebook etc.  We really don't want to be rude but we do want to be fair to those who follow the rules.

That's all from me for now, so I'll wish you a happy and peaceful day x

A beautiful, serene scene, with some lovely colouring! Such a peaceful, country garden feel to this - fits in perfectly with the weather right now in the UK. I haven't seen this stamp, though I have to admit I stopped looking at CI a while ago because I found their frames and small sizes a bit too limiting. Shall have to visit again - or maybe wait for Port Sunny again, lol.

Have a lovely Sunday!

I love this fabulous design, the crisp frame leads perfectly to your wonderful cottage garden. We had plans for such a garden when we moved here, but the windy position put paid to our tall planting so we had to rethink that idea!! Still, one day!! xx

Love how you've set your beautiful garden scene in the frame, Sandra, it's as though we're viewing it through a window. Your background paper is gorgeous too, and complements the main image perfectly.
