I first started card making when I bought a small card making kit for my 40th birthday. It included a heat gun, some embossing powers and a few basic stamps. It didn't take long before I was absolutely hooked. I obviously then needed lots more inks and stamps, and the rest, as they say, is history!
Using stamps and inks in different ways are the things in the crafting world that I enjoy the most and I'm never happier than when I'm in my craft room, listening to music and creating something new. There's always something new happening in the art world and I'm really enjoying every minute my crafting journey and I've met some lovely like minded people along the way.
I started my blog in April 2015 and I was lucky enough to win the very first card challenge that I entered at Stamping Sensations. In July 2017, I joined their design team and I also design for Crafty Individuals, Inkylicious, and my cards have been featured on Hochanda and in several of the major stamping and paper craft magazines. I have also previously been on the design team at Fashionable Stamping Challenges. When I nervously entered that first card challenge, never in my wildest dreams did I imagine where it might take me. If I could pass on any advice, it would be just to have a go and don't be afraid to try out new techniques, you never know where it might lead!
I've been married for over thirty five years and I have a two grown up children and three gorgeous Grandchildren who are my absolute joy.
I really hope that you find my artwork inspiring but please don't copy it to claim it as you own or to use it in any challenges.
If you've enjoyed your visit, then please leave me a comment as they are always very much appreciated.
