Hi there, here's a card that I'm entering into this week's Less is More challenge They are asking that you add a TAG on your project.
I've used the 'Oriental Awakening' stamps by Inkylicious. I started by colouring the edge of the tag with Teal Zeal ink by Memento with Ink Dusters and then stamped the branch in the same colour. The sentiment and bird were stamped using Versafine Onyx Black as this always gives a lovely clear impression. The card was then finished by adding a ribbon and a decorative bead.

Flying High
Well, it looks like I'm on a roll this weekend with another card for another challenge. I'm really enjoying the whole blogging experience and would like to thank all the ladies who have given me such a warm welcome to the crafting community, I should have done it years ago!
I'm entering this card in the the 'Less is More' challenge. Their theme for this week is Up, up and away. I actually find it quite hard to keep cards Clean and Simple and have to stop myself from adding extra bits on.
The balloon stamp is an 'Anita's' stamp; and was one of the first stamps that I ever bought, many moons ago. The girl stamp is one from 'Make Your Mark' in York. It's a lovely little rubber stamp shop and I'd recommend a visit if you're ever visiting York. The balloon was stamped onto holographic paper for a sparkly effect, then cut out and stuck over the stamped image. The girl's dress was water coloured using Adirondack Raspberry and Purple Twilight.

Thinking Pink Today!
Good morning, on what promises to be a warm, sunny day. One of the main reasons for me starting this blog was to be able to join in some of the card challenges. I have stood on the sidelines for a very long time now and so I've finally taken the plunge! I would like to share with you two cards that I have made for this month's Stamping Sensations. Their theme for this month is 'Pretty in Pink.' This is most appropriate as Spring is finally here.
My first card was made using the Bare Trees stamp by Inkylicious which was stamped using Versafine Onyx Black. I then used Impress Dusky Rose to stamp over the tree to create blossoms using a stamp that I've had for years by Art Impressions. The tree was then given some dimension by using a tiny amount of Flower Soft. The sentiment is by 'Stamps Happen' and the pink flower used to create the border is by Rubber Stamp Tapestry. The tree is framed by Spellbinder's Decorative Labels Eight.
My second card is made again with stamps from Inkylicious. This one is from the Oriental Awakening set. I started by taking a piece of matt white card and used Ink Dusters to create some colour around the edges. The colour is again Dusky Rose by Impress.
Thank you for taking the time to look and I wish you all a happy weekend.

Easter Cards
I would like to share with you some cards that I made for special friends of mine for Easter.
The first one was made using Spellbinders crosses. Although the background appears white, it is actually a pale cream colour in reality.
The crosses and tag are by Spellbinders and were layered up using a silicone glue. The sentiment was computer generated.
The background was created using an embossing folder by Design Objectives Ltd.
The second card was made using the same embossing folder as the card above.
The Sentiment was computer generated using a colour to match the card-stock and butterfly.
The butterfly is called Vivienne and is by Memory Box.
The green stem was created by using a tiny ivy stamp that I've had for years by Flower Soft.
