I started by using a Spellbinders Radiant Rectangle die. I used this to cut into my background card to give my image a detailed border and I left the die in place whilst I coloured the rest of the background using Ink Dusters This gave me a white border that contrasted nicely against the black card that is was being mounted on. The inks that I used were Distress Peacock Feathers and Adirondack Lemonade and Impress Lemon Yellow.
For the main image, I masked off the sun before colouring around it with the same inks that I used for the background. I added more ink onto the main image to allow it to stand out from the background. The stamp used on the main image is one from the Meadow Breeze set by Inkylicious. I stamped this with Versafine Black Onyx to give a nice, clear impression.
To finish the card, I used the 'Vivienne' die cut butterfly by Memory
Box and used two butterfly punches to create the smaller butterflies.
Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you've enjoyed viewing this post as much as I've enjoyed creating it. Take care and I hope to be back with you all soon x
