Bee Crafty Bird Tag

Hello there,

Just another quick post from me today to share a tag that I've made using one of the Bee Crafty stamps that I bought at Stamp Magic at the weekend.  It's the first time I've ever used these stamps and they leave such a good impression and I'm really impressed with the quality of them too.

I made the background using Distress Oxides and then used various stencils to create some depth and interest. Next, I stamped the bird with Versamark and then bleached out some colour.  The words were stamped and then cut out from an Inkylicious stamp.

I'll be back soon to share the last of my Crafty Individuals samples but until then, I'll wish you lots of happy crafting x

Autumnal Lakeside Cabin

Hello there,

I didn't intend to post anything today as I've been to the 'Stamp Magic' show at Doncaster.  The show was so much better attended than the last show in June and the atmosphere was good.  I bought some new crafting goodies and caught up with my lovely teamies....Sally and Lynne from Stamping Sensations, and Sally and Lynne's friend Audrey, so it's been a great day.  The trees on our journey home looked absolutely spectacular and so I was inspired as soon as I got home to try our some of my new stamps from Inkylicious (Not yet on their web site) and here's the result.  It's only a quick card but I just couldn't wait to have a play:

These are two separate scenic stamps but they work really well together.  They can be used for any season really but I thought that I'd start with Autumn before it whizzes by.

I hope that you've all had a lovely weekend x

'Trees and Leaves'

Hello there,

I hope that you're all keeping well and happy.

I'd like to thank you for all the lovely comments that you've left recently, I really appreciate them.

Just a quick post from me today as I'd like to enter the challenge this week over at Allsorts.  Their theme is 'Leaves and Trees' and so I thought this card was just right:

The background was made using Brushos and Distress inks and stamps are by Inkylicious.

Wishing you a happy and colourful day x

Autumn Glory at Stamping Sensations

Hello there,

It's time for a new challenge over at Stamping Sensations and our theme this time is 'Autumn Glory.' I don't know about you but Autumn is one of my most favourite times of the year.  The colours are absolutely spectacular and I never fail to be amazed by Autumn's spender.

For my card this time, I've used one of my oldest and most faithful ink pads, the good old Big and Juicy (Spice.)  The colours in this pad are just perfect for Autumnal cards and I wish they still made them.  On saying that, I must have had mine for ten years and it's still going strong.  I started by placing a leave stencil over some white card and then I created my background by dusting the various colours from the pad.  I stamped around the edge of the card using a leaf stamp by Inkylicious and then used a water colour brush to pull out the colour.  I've used one of my favourite sentiments in the center of the card. I firmly believe that it is the little things each and every day that make us truly happy, not the big things that people strive for. The stamps is by Dali ART.

That's all from me for now, so I'll wish you a happy and peaceful day x
