Even More Seaside Fun

Hello there,

I'm here today to share a couple more of my Crafty Individual Samples but not many more to go now:

If you managed to catch the shows on Hochanda, you might have seen this one sat on the counter with the stamps and other goodies.  I watched a video on You Tube before making this that showed you how to paint the incoming sea.  I spent ages using white acrylic paint on the wave and I think I've managed to add some movement to it.  I think this bit took me longer than the rest of the image put together!  I cut up some brown card to make the fence and the was net around some lemons that I bought.

Next up is a shaker card.  I used a sheet from the Crafty Individuals Seaside pad and then used various stamps on the paper, although they don't all show very clearly on this picture.  With the exception of the stars, all of the shapes in the jar were stamped and then fussy cut out.

Not many samples left to show you now, so I'll be back with them in the next few days.

I do remember that bag! I made a similar scene with the starfish on the sand too, but your sea and wave are much more professional than mine though! The shaker card is lovely too, a clever design. xx

Two fabulous cards Sandra, and getting the waves to look right is extremely difficult but you have done it beautifully, and this is wonderful art on a bag, and the tag shaker is such a great idea. I love the jar with the seahorse, and the starfish etc as the shaker element is such a great idea, and the paper is perfect with the bits of added stamping. x

Well, all you cards (just discovered tonight on Jean's blog, I'm so sorry to be late on commenting on your blog too) are truly fantastic.
All your scenes are perfect, so realistic and inventive. Full of ideas, with details always well thought and carefully added, your compositions are simply magnificent! Well done, I'm in awe.
Happy weekend to you, thank you for the whole inspiration and joy for my eyes tonight dear Sandra xxx
