Hello there,
Before I start today's post, I'd just like to thank you all for your kind words regarding my last post. Things are still full on but I'm trying to put things into perspective and to look on the positive side. I'm so grateful for the medical care that my loved ones are receiving and the NHS have been outstanding in all cases so far. My Grandson Jack will be the first one to have his surgery next month and my Son is just awaiting the results of an MRI that he had on Wednesday. My youngest Grandson Harry who has just turned two will be having surgery in the early summer and that will be major surgery, anticipated to last around eight hours. I'll let you know how things go on nearer to the time and just try to concentrate on crafting until then. I haven't spent much time in my craft room recently but I have been enjoying the inspiration on Pinterest, so hopefully, I'll soon be back crafting again very soon. Moving on now...…..
I’d like to remind you all that the lovely Jean Hardy from Crafty Individuals will be on Hochanda tomorrow at 4pm and again on Tuesday at 10 am. She has some fabulous stamps, both old and new, so I hope you’ll be able to join her. I’ll try to get some of my samples posted in the next couple of weeks. Note for Sally Holmes.........you won’t want to miss this one! ;)
Okay then, finally moving on to the task in hand. It's time for a new challenge over at Stamping Sensations and our theme this time is 'All Things Bright and BEAUtiful.'
I love to see a beautiful sunset in all it's glory and so I decided to go all out bright and beautiful. I started by creating a background using my Brushos. These give such vivid colours and I just love how random they are. Take a look at my finished card:
The sentiment that I've used is by Visible Image and the butterfly is by Bee Crafty. Having stamped the sentiment and the butterfly, I decided that I wanted to create a bold frame for my card and so I used the very edge of another Bee Crafty stamp, the large BEAUtanical Lily. I think this worked really well and I just gave the flowers a touch of red and orange to draw the viewers eye into central image
That's all from me for now, so I'll wish you a happy and peaceful day x
