Let's Travel Somewhere Nice Today

Hello there,

The weather is absolutely horrendous here and so I'm taking advantage of that and spending some time in my craft room.  I know that I've been a bad blogger recently but my time has been quite precious and so when I've had some spare time,  I've used it to have a play with my crafty stash rather than sitting at my computer but I'm taking a little time this morning to catch up with my crafty friends and also to share with you a few of my samples that I made for the recent Crafty Individuals shows on Hochanda :

I really enjoyed the latest range of stamps by Crafty Individuals and the Eiffel Tower and Hot Air Balloons were my favourites.  The theme was 'Travel' and all of the stamps are great for cards and journaling.  I made quite a few this time around, so I'm hoping to share more of them with you soon.

Enjoy your day, whatever you may be doing and I wish peace and happiness until I'm with you again  x

I would definitely like to travel somewhere nice today as Dorset seems to have lost it's appeal at the moment!! These are lovely cards, the balloons really remind me of the summer xx

Three gorgeous cards Sandra using these super CI stamps and as usual your scenic one with the balloons flying over the house and pretty landscape looks wonderful, and the Eiffel Tower surrounded by pretty flowers and the butterfly placed behind it is such a great design, and the last with the gorgeous sailing ship and the two smaller images on the tags and accompanying luggage and tickets look perfect over that beautiful inked and stencilled background. It goes without saying that your colouring and colour choices are spot on! The sky is still grey but it is definitely lighter and brighter so hopefully the storm is passing us here in the south west, so hopefully it will be brightening up for you fairly soon too. x

Hugs, have a lovely Sunday despite the weather!

Hello Sandra

Love the balloons one, how did you do the sky please?

Hope you are well.

Love

Maggie (Bendy Yorkite) - Bendy has been here a year now and is JUST settling down! He's still a bit 'bite-y' though.

Reply To Magic Maggie - I coloured the sky using my Ink Dusters with Distress and Adirondack inks. Just brush on gently with each colour and then gradually build up the colour until it's the shade that you require. Thank you for your kind comment. I wish you had a blog that I could visit :( x

Three more beautiful creations. All very different but they all have your delicate touch. I love the background on that last one and you've made a super job of those balloons over the house. The first one is just stunning use of the butterfly with the tower. xxxxx
