I think I'm just a little behind the times!

Hello there my crafty friends.

It seems like absolutely ages since I've had the time to sit down and write a blog post.  I've published a few that were scheduled but I've not had much time to catch up with things as I would have liked.  Loosing my lovely SIL really knocked me sideways and life is just about getting back to normal,  whatever normal is these days! Life will never be the same without her and I feel that one of my life's most precious jigsaw pieces is missing.  It's still a beautiful picture but it isn't complete any more.  I just need to keep reminding myself how lucky we were to have her in our lives xx

I've just finished my next lot of samples for a Crafty Individuals show that's on at the beginning of August and I've realised that I didn't share the ones with you from the June shows, so I'll reify that right now:

The first two that I'm sharing with you today featuring the fabulous new Camper Van stamp.  It's a great little stamp and perfect for those tricky masculine cards that we all struggle with.  I also think it would be great for making wedding cards and can just imagine it being trimmed up with flowers and ribbon.

That's all from me for today as I need to crack on with a card for a Pearl Wedding Anniversary at the beginning of August.

Take care of yourselves, be happy and I hope to be with you again soon xx

Hello Sandra, loosing a loved on at this particular time is even more difficult I would imaging, not that there is ever a good time for that to happen of course, but the grieving process that is necessary to go through, has to be done differently at present, all so sad, but as you say, your family's lives have all been the richer for your SIL being part of it.
Once again, Sandra your sample cards are wonderful, I love your designs and colours, take care of yourself, Kate x

I can only imagine how difficult it must have been for you over the last few weeks Sandra but it is lovely to see your beautiful cards, they certainly brighten my day! I love the camper van and added people on both give added interest and love the map on the first and then the postmarks on the second, both super backgrounds and some pretty softer colours on he first and then those hot summer colours on the second. x

Oh, Sandra, I'm very sorry for your loss!! It's always so very sad when a loved one isn't more with us on the earth. :( And a SIL is really a big piece of the heart. Keep her in your heart, and every moment together in your memories. She will be always with you, even if you can't see her anymore. I think that the souls are still here, this visible world isn't the only existing one.
Two lovely cards, sweet and warm as always. Love the road map background in the first one and the lovely CI stamps used.
Biggest hugs ever
