A Little Bit Spooky

Hello there,

I'd like to share with you a page that I made at the weekend for my art journal.  I had intended to make two with them being for Halloween, a left and right that worked together but sadly, that didn't happen.  I ended up with a right but didn't like the one for the left, so that's now a project for another day!  Here’s the one that I ended up with:

All of the stamps that I've used are by Crafty Individuals and the stencil in the background is by Visible Image.

That's all from me for today, short and sweet but I'll be back with you all again on Thursday xx

I'd like to enter this page into the following challenges:

Country View Challenges - Halloween (Make A Scene)

Moving Along With The Times - Animal/s and.or Bird/s

Do you know, I liked this instantly, and even more so when I realised there was a skull in the background. Beautifully done.

Hope you are well.

I have started to make some halloween art boxes for the local kids (since I don't think we should give them any sweeties this year - what with pandemics etc.) My plan is to reverse the usual trick or treat and pop the boxes to their parents a few days beforehand. There will be stamped images (like yours here) to colour in, as I'm sure most children have crayons.

PS good luck with the card.

I am not a Halloween fan but I do love this crow and the skull is softened by the bird on its head and the pretty red roses Sandra, and also the foliage framing the background with the beautiful stencil, and the colours are perfect Sandra. I also love the moonlight in the centre too which really creates wonderful contrast. A brilliant journal page! x

O wow, absolutely love this. Those stamps are wonderful and that stencil is brilliant and of course, it would be Visible Image. The stitched/barbed wire border is really cool too. Michelle x
