Christmas

 Hello there,

Well, it's the 1st of December and Chrismas will soon be upon us, so let the festivities begin! :)

Back in October, I was lucky enough to be the Winner of a challenge that I'd entered at 'Country View Crafts.'  In addition to winning a fabulous £20 voucher to spend online in their store, I was also asked if I would like to be their Guest Designer for December, which I kindly accepted.   Their theme this month is 'Christmas' and here's the card that I've made:

I decided to use one of the stamps that I designed for Crafty Individuals back in August which features the beautiful robin.  I know that you can see them all year round but nothing says christmas to me more than seeing one in the snow.  I created some hills in the background and I made the background a little darker, so that with snow would stand out more.  The snow was created by splattering with a white Posca pen.  The stamps that I've used today are by Crafty Individulals and the sentiment is by Inkylicious.

I really enjoy entering the challenges over at Country View Crafts.  The inspiration from their Design Team is always amazing, so why not pop along and take a look.  Better still, why not join in with this 'Christmas' challenge.

That's all from me for today but I hope to be back with you all again soon.  Wishing you all lots of fun throughout December xx

What a gorgeous card, I know we've seen the robin a few times, but I think this is the best.
With all that's going on in the world, I find I really can't get 'razzed up' about Christmas at the moment. Let's get this year out of the way.

Love

What a gorgeous card Sandra and such a pretty winter scene you have created with that beautiful bird as the main image and surrounded by the lovely trees, and the falling snow spattered with your Posca pen looks so realistic. I love the snowflakes on the matted layer too which make a brilliant background. Congratulations on winning the challenge at CVC and for being their GD this month...I just popped over to the challenge but did not see your card there, hopefully it will pop up shortly. x

Congrats for your GD Sandra, so well deserved! Your stamp is really versatile but surely it shines in winter mode. Your scene is just perfect with that amazing snow, I have never thought to do it with Uniposca splatters. Thanks for sharing your tip
