Hello there my crafty friends,
It's been a while since my last post but the weather has been glorious this week and so we've taken advantage of it, having lots of lovely walks. On Tuesday, we walked just short of nine miles, so as you can imagine, I slept well that night! Im also busy making my next lot of samples for Crafty Individuals, so if I'm quiet over the next couple of weeks, that is likely to be the reason why.
Now the reason that I'm posting today is to share a card that I've made today using my brand new Stampscape stamps that I won in a recent FB challenge over at Ink Art Designs. It's a lovely little friendly group run by the very talented Dot Leathbridge. I was a great admirer of Dot's work when I first started stamping and we were on the same DT at 'Fashionable Stamping' challenges for while. I was always excited to see Dot's makes as they were always stunning and she loves her ink as much as I do. A few years back, Dot decided to start up her own buisness at Ink Art Designs. It's in Australia, so a long way from us here in the UK but still a fabulous online shop to visit with some amazing stamps. If you get chance, why not pop along and take a look for yourselves as it's well worth a visit. Here's the first card that I made yesterday:

Now if I had to sum up myself as a stamper, then this would be it. I love using different types of stamps but my strength definitely lies in scenic stamping. I've been a fan of Inkylicious stamps for years now and designed for them on a few occasions when they had shows on Hochanda, so a few of their stamps, the mountain, boat and sentimnent seemed to be the perfect match for my new Stampscape stamps.
I'm absolutely thrilled to bits with my new stamps and I would like to say a really big thank you to Dot for being kind enough to post them from the other side of the world. I can't wait to try them out in different colours and to make different scenes with them. The are just so easy to use and the end result looks great, even if I do say so myself! ;)
Right then, that's all from me for today as I'm visiting family this morning for a garden visit, then I'm going to make some homemade wine but that's a story for another day.
Take care of yourselves and stay safe xx
