A CAS Botanical Card

Hell there,

Where on earth is this year going? November already and it will soon be time to start writing the Christmas cards won't it.

For this card, I've used a stamp from CI-583.  There are lots of lovely leaf stamps in this set but for this card, I've only used one of them.  I simply stamped it in VersaFine Clair, coloured with Impress Olive Green, then cut them all out.  That was a labour of love I can tell you.  Definitely fiddly but worth it in the end.  I've made this into a thank you card but I think it would also be perfect for a sympathy card too.

That really is a labour of love as you have even cut round the stems. Must have taken ages and ages to do. I am very impressed. looks very classy and elegant. hugs Mrs A.

So elegant and beautiful Sandra and your fussy cutting is brilliant. I love the way you have layered it up too and I love the uneven edge of one of the mats...a really delightful card. x

It sure was worth it Sandra and what a delightful CAS card, which would work for numerous 'occasions' x. Never mind writing cards....I have to make them first!!!

Absolutely a labour of love Sandra, but your card is so beautiful, well worth the effort.
I got my Christmas cards out today and started matching them to the recipients, I needed to get the abroad cards looked out and written and I'll post them tomorrow. Now I've just to get the rest of them written. I wish I was so well ahead with the gift buying, Kate x

I'm not sure I would have wanted to cut all those leaves out and I normally enjoy fussy cutting. A wonderful card sandra..

Alright...I'm here.....I'm late......I'm sorry.
This card is gorgeous. Absolutely adore it.
Keep 'em coming - I do look every day, but yesterday was all over the shop with boosters, doctor's appointments, neighbours' issues. Couldn't switch off!!.

PS one of my lovely neighbours has given me a pile of beautiful ginko leaves, any ideas? 'Cos you're good with leaves.
