New Stampscapes

Hello there,

It seems like absolutely ages since I did a blog post but I've had no desk top computer for the last couple of weeks.  Thankfully, it all seems to be running okay at the moment, thanks to my SIL, so finger's crossed that it stays that way!  We've also been at our Son's house for most of this week decorating our grandson's bedroom.  His bedroom revamp also included a new Captain's bed which three of us started putting together yesterday....what a nightmare.  After three hours at it, we decided to call it a day and start again this morning.  We had literally just arrived when our DIL tested positive for Covid, so it was coats straight on and back home again.  What a pickle to be in and I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that we haven't picked it up over the last couple of days,  It will be nothing short of a miracle if we haven't.  Right then, that's my news so onto my card.  It was my birthday last month and I asked my Hubby for some Stampscape stamps which he very kindly bought me.  If you remember, I won a set in a challenge last year and after that, I was absolutely hooked on them.  Here's the first card that I made with them:

I'm sorry that I haven't been commenting much over the last couple of weeks but for some unknown reason, there are quite a few blogs that will only let me comment as anonymous on my iPad and as I mentioned, I've had no desk top.  I will now try to catch up the best that I can as I'm looking forward to seeing what you've all been up to.

Finally, I just wanted to let you know that Jean from Crafty Individuals will be on The Craft Store tomorrow (Friday 4th of February) at 10am and 2pm.  She has some lovely new stamps by a young artist called Ellie Mulligan, so hope you can tune in.

Take care of yourselves and I'll be back in the next few days to share some of my samples.  Until then, stay safe and stay happy xx

This is fabulous Sandra, and I love the way you have done the waves and the colours are gorgeous with that touch of pinky/purple and orangy yellow in the sky, and echoed very beautifully in the sea. I was trying to make it bigger so that I could see the wonderful detail better, but it looks the same size, but maybe as you have had computer problems that is something that wouldn't normally happen. Computers are great when they are Sorry to hear that your DIL has Covid but hopefully you won't get it, but if you do hope that it will only be mildly. x

Such a stunning card Sandra, I fell in love with Stampscape Stamps some years ago after seeing them being demonstrated at a show and now have quite a large collection. I also fell in love with the new stamps Jean has just shown on The Craft Store. The large collection of dogs just jump right on into my basket before I could stop them. Just waiting until they arrive now. Hope you keep Covid Free.

Sue xx

YAY....welcome home - fingers crossed all will be well, health-wise.
How did we manage without computers??
I wish there were more places to get Stampscapes, they are wonderful - the cove, being one of my all time favourites. I would love to get more, any suggestions as to which are most useful (and where to get them in the UK?)

Fabulous card, Sandra. I love your beautiful, tranquil scene.

I don’t know if you’ve solved the problem with commenting on blogs using your iPad. When I look at blogs on my iPad, I have to access the internet through Google Chrome to leave a comment with my name. If I open the internet with Safari, I can only leave an anonymous comment. HTH xx
